General FAQs

Cherrypicka is not a law firm and we do not provide legal advice. No client / solicitor relationship is formed between you and us when you purchase and use our templates. Our templates are general in nature. They may not cover every situation or law that applies to you or your specific circumstances. If you have any questions, concerns or are unsure whether the template is right for you or your business, you must see a qualified lawyer before using our templates. Our templates are not intended to be a substitute for legal advice. Our templates are based on laws current at the time of purchase and are based on Australian law. They are not suitable for use outside of Australia.

When you order a template through Cherrpicka, not only do you get an editable word document, but you also get a specialised Guidance Note. The Guidance Note gives you clear instructions on how to use your template and more detail than appears on our website.
“Pick” is where you choose a single document to purchase. This is useful if you are only needing one document for example a ‘Website Terms and Conditions’ template. “Pack” is where you choose from one of our specialised bundles. This is useful when you need multiple documents at once – great for a growing business! For example, our ‘Website Essentials’ pack contains a ‘Terms and Conditions’ template AND a ‘Privacy Policy’ template.
Cherrypicka is constantly growing and expanding its template library. What you see now is just the beginning! If you can't find the document or pack you need, send us an email at [email protected] and we will let you know if your required template is nearly ready for release.
If you’re unhappy with your order, please contact us at [email protected] within 14 days of purchase. We will then work with you to resolve your concerns. If you’re still unhappy after that we will offer you a refund.
You can use a credit card, a debit card or Apple Pay to purchase your templates. No yearly subscriptions. No lock in contracts. Just pick what you need and off you go!
Instantly! Once you have submitted and confirmed your order, we will send you an email with a link containing a download for your templates. Make sure to double check your email before you finalise your order.
Cherrpicka’s templates come in a downloadable Microsoft Word format. Our Guidance Notes come as a PDF. We recommend completing the templates on a desktop computer or laptop.
Let’s face it, this has crossed your mind. From our perspective, it’s a big no no. Copying and pasting from your competitors terms and conditions or from a document you have from your old place of work is risky business – not only could you be breaching copyright – but it is not a credible or particularly honourable move. Cherrypicka templates are affordable and will remove any of these risks from your business.
We believe that the internet is filled with a lot of sub-standard legal templates. We like to call this legal landfill.  Please don’t let promises of free templates or snazzy automation functions lure you in. Also beware of templates which may say they can be used in Australia but which actually use American / English terminology and legal principles. That is not the Cherry way! Our templates are made in Australia for Australian businesses. They have been designed using plain English drafting principles (easier to read and understand) and other clever design principles that simplify the legal agreement creation process.

Using the templates

That depends. You can re-use the template within your own business or organisation, but you cannot pass it on to family or friends. You can check back with our website to reuse the most current document available. We also recommend that you always go back to the “base” document when you re-use your template rather than re-using one which you customised for another transaction – just to ensure you are maintaining document integrity.
